Should've just walked away - 1985 Canondale SM500
Saw an 80's Cannondale MTB on CL for $50, NDS photos only, ID'd as an 85 SM500 thanks to the appraisals subforum. With thoughts of Deerhead, Sugino AT, and a bullmoose cockpit swirling in my head, I made a moderate drive to pick it up this morning.
Sadly, I arrived to a pretty abused bike....
