Canadian schedule set, single-draw tickets available for BKT World Women’s Championship in Calgary

It’s around two months and counting until Calgary hosts the best women’s curling teams on the planet for the 2026 BKT World Women’s Curling Championship, presented by Pharmasave.

The 2026 BKT World Women’s Championship is scheduled for March 14-22 at the WinSport Event Centre, and action will kick off on the opening Saturday at 2 p.m. (all times Mountain) when Team Canada takes on Sweden.

That’ll be followed up with another traditional rivalry on Saturday night at 7 p.m. with Canada playing the United States, and the opening weekend slate for the home will wrap up Sunday afternoon with a 1:30 p.m. tilt against China.

Other notable rivalry games for Team include the powerhouse Swiss on Tuesday evening (March 17), Scotland 24 hours later and then Japan on Friday, March 20, to close out the round robin.

Canada’s team for the 2026 BKT World Women’s Curling Championship will be the winner of the 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, set for Jan. 23-Feb. 1 in Mississauga, Ont.

And you’ll want to make those plans quickly; tickets are moving quickly, and the demand will get higher later this week as single-draw tickets for every round-robin and playoff draw go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

Round-robin single-draw ticket prices range from $18 to $40, depending on draw and seat selection. Playoff and semifinal games are $35 up to $49 or $58 for Sunday’s gold-medal final. 

Ticket prices for youth under of the age of 20 or students with a valid student card range from $9.50 to $15.

A variety of ticket packages also are still available:

• Full Event Package ($396-$432) — A single ticket to every draw, including playoffs.
• Championship Weekend Package ($196-$224) — A single ticket to every draw from Friday, March 20, to Sunday, March 22 (more than 50 per cent of the available tickets have already been sold for the championship weekend, so you’ll need to act quickly to take advantage of this option!)
• Opening Weekend Package ($90-$110) — A single ticket to all draws (including three Team Canada games) on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15.
• Weekday Package ($48-$69) — A single ticket to all three draws on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

 All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees.
