Results of the Gambit Bonnevoie Rapid Chess Open of 29 November

The first Gambit Bonnevoie Rapid Chess Open (results: https://s1.chess-results.com/tnr1306108.aspx?lan=1&art=1&turdet=YES&SNode=S0) took place on 29 November 2025 in Hall Omnisports. This was the first FIDE-rated event ever organized by our club, and we plan to host many more in the future.

Around 50 players from 11 federations participated, reflecting the diversity of both the Luxembourg chess scene and the country itself. The victory went to FM Jan Zienkiewicz, who achieved a perfect 7/7, ahead of Nicolas Bourg and the young Nicephore Pierron Bejan.
