Great experience for NZ Mixed in Aberdeen

28 Oct 2022 – The New Zealand side at the World Mixed Championship in Aberdeen didn't let a lack of on-ice success dampen their enjoyment of the event.

Despite plenty of good periods of play, Dean Fotti, Joanna Olszewski, Matt Whineray and Sandra Thomas didn't find them consistently enough to pick up a win during the week.

The team appreciated the backing they received via social media.

"Thanks everyone for your support this week in Aberdeen," said Sandra Thomas. "We managed to take some ends off some really outstanding teams – including three ends off the eventual World Champions, Canada."
