2025 African Junior Chess Championships – OPEN Participants

The 2025 African Junior Chess Championships will take place from September 18 to September 24 in Cabo Verde. This tournament is separated into 2 categories – Open and Girls in format of a 9-round Swiss system with time control of 90 min/ 40 moves + 30 min + 30 sec/move. The top-seeded players in Open section are IM Hamed Wafa (2353), FM David George Samir (2349), FM Xavier Mompel Ferruz (2334), Charlton Mnyasta (2172), FM Jadon Simiyu (2136), FM Yousef A.
