GM Amir Bagheri and WIM Marija Zvereva are Monaco Rapid Chess Champions 2025. The event took place on 4th of September, with the participation of 24 players who competed over 9-swiss rounds for a prize pool of 7.000 euros which was donated by Evren Ucok. GM Amir Bagheri won the tournament with the score of 8/9 points, clinching the title of the Monaco Rapid Chess Champion 2025, and finishing ahead of GM David Marciano who clinched silver with 7.5 points, and GM Igor Efimov who won bronze with 7 points. WIM Marija Zvereva won the title of the Monaco Women’s Rapid Chess Champion with the score of 5.5 points, finishing 4th in the overall rankings. Scroll down for the full standings.
