Tight Race: Integral and Plentychess Lead TCEC League 1 at Halfway Mark

Integral (3552) and Plentychess (3580) are joint leaders at the halfway mark of Top Chess Engine Championship League 1. The two engines have 13,5/22 each, half a point ahead of Caissa (3601).
Plentychess and Integral both entered League 1 after qualifying from League 2. Plentychess came in as the 4th seed by rating, Integral was seeded just 10th. Yet, both engines have exceeded expectations and now appear well-positioned to advance to the prestigious Premier Division, where only the world’s strongest engines compete.
