The 19th Serbian Individual Chess Championship was officially opened today in the Conference Hall of the “Ana Luks” Hotel in Pirot. The tournament’s chief arbiter, IM Igor Lukić, introduced the participants, and then, by symbolically making the first move, Jorgić and Vasić marked the beginning of the tournament, which features 10 competitors who will compete for the title of Serbian chess champion over the next 9 days.
Participants include Robert Markus, Ivan Ivanisevic, Novak Cabarkapa, Misa Pap, Suat Atalik, Vuk Djordjevic, Andrej Ljepic, Luka Radovic, Ivan Martic, Andrei Gaivoronskii
