French Top 16 LIVE

The French Club Chess Championship Top 16 aka Championnat de France d’échecs des clubs takes place May 22 – June 1, 2025 in Belfort, France. In Top 16, the top sixteen teams in France compete in teams of eight players and players during these eleven days. The teams are divided into two groups of 8. In each group, they clash with each other in seven rounds. At the end of this phase, the first four of each group progress to the elimination phase. See the pairings below.

The games take place every day at 2.30 p.m., except for the first round, which starts at 3 p.m. and the last at 1.15 p.m. Chessdom will cover daily the event, which is one of the Top Chess Competitions in The Chess Calendar (see more events of Europe here).
