Paracin Chess Festival 2025

The 8th International Chess Festival Paracin Open is 9-days long chess festival that will take place July 4-12 in Paracin, Serbia.

Paracin Chess Festival 2025 will have a total prize fund of 15.000 EUR and will consist of 4 events: International Open for players rated higher than 2100, International Open B for players rated lower than and equal to 2100, a rapid tournament 21st Memorial Rapid Tournament “Uros Dinis”, and Open blitz tournament.

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT “PARACIN 2025” – OPEN A OPEN – tournament for players rated higher than 2100. Organizer is allowed to include players with lower ratings as follows: 2000-2099 (max 20 players), 1900-1999 (max 10 players), below 1900 (max 5 players). FIDE Swiss, 9 rounds. The tournament is valid for FIDE rating and international title norms. Time control is 90 min. + 30 sec. Total prize fund is 1.170.000 RSD (app. 10.000 €), while 1st prize is: 300.000 RSD (app. 2.550 €)

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT “PARACIN 2025” – OPEN B OPEN tournament for players rated lower and equal to 2100. FIDE Swiss, 9 rounds. The tournament is valid for FIDE rating. Time control is 90 min. + 30 sec. The total prize fund is 330.000 RSD (app. 2.820 €), while 1st prize is: 60.000 RSD (app. 510 €)

21st MEMORIAL RAPID TOURNAMENT “UROS DINIS”, July 6th 2025. Rapid tournament, FIDE Swiss, 9 rounds. 10 min. + 5 sec. per player. Total prize fund: 150.000 RSD (app. 1.280 €)

OPEN BLITZ TOURNAMENT, July 11th 2025. Blitz tournament, FIDE Swiss, 11 rounds. 3 min. + 2 sec. per player. Total prize fund: 100.000 RSD (app. 855 €)
