The Mitropacup 2025 will take place from May 13 to 22 in Trencin, Slovakia in Hotel Magnus. The Mitropa Cup is a team chess competition involving countries from Central Europe, organized by the Mitropa Chess Association. It includes an open section and a women’s section, with each team typically consisting of four players and one reserve. The following chess federations are invited to participate in the Mitropa Cup 2025: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.
Tournament directors are Milan Roman and Martin Dobrotka, the chief arbiter is Ivan Syrovy, the chairman of the FIDE Arbiter Commission.
