Fethi Apaydın is the new President of Turkish Chess Federation

The 6th General Assembly of the Turkish Chess Federation (TCF) was held on Wednesday, October 9, at Ankara Green Park Hotel. Gülkız Tulay, who was elected as the TCF president on November 5, 2012 and served Turkish chess for 12 years, handed over the presidency to Fethi Apaydın. Fethi Apaydın was the only candidate for the Presidency at the General Assembly, who received 135 of 149 votes, became Turkish Chess Federation President.

Turkish Chess Federation Board of Directors are: Ömer Asım Ötegen, Turgay Seçkin Serpil, Alper Efe Ataman, Berk İpek, Kadir Açıkbaşlar, Ferat Bilgin, Mehmet Faruk Bülbül, İnanç Dinçsoy, Bülent Mert Dikeç and Cesur Küçük.

Gülkız Tulay was unanimously elected as the Honorary President of the Turkish Chess Federation.
