The 5th ECU Trainers Online Seminar

The ECU Trainers Commission organizes the second Seminar for trainers’ education & titles, from 25 November – 5 December 2024. In the Webinar the titles of ECU Expert Coach, or ECU Junior Coach, or ECU Novice Coach, may/will be awarded.

Each participant must successfully meet the following requirements: Personal Curriculum Vitae (special Form), Participation in the Webinar (€ 100), Webinar’s Test, Title Fee Payment (€ 200 or € 300). The Webinar fee will be waived for selected participants: One participant from each European Small Nation (FIDE Zone 1.10) – free seminar and title fee, and five (5) female trainers selected by the European Women Commission (the Webinar fee will be waived).

The Seminar will be based on the ECU-ETC Syllabus (Volume 2 and 3). The Seminar will comprise 18 hours of lecture and the lecturers are:

  • GM Ivan Sokolov,
  • GM Adrian Mikhalchishin,
  • GM Efstratios Grivas,
  • GM Antoaneta Stefanova,
  • GM Miguel Illescas,
  • GM Gudmundur Kjartansson, and
  • WGM Jana Krivec.

All Registrations & CVs should be sent to ECU Trainers Committee by email (trainers@europechess.org) and ECU-ECT Secretary (grivasefs@yahoo.co.uk) by 24.11.2024.
