RESULT
Dundee City Juniors (954) 6 – 2 (1024) Hilsmark Juniors 2
A good result against an evenly matched team! This result also gives Dundee City Juniors a chance of staying in division 3!
Matthew Hunter on board one is the king-pin of the team and once again he proved why that is, with another great two games of chess, to win both matches! Matthew does like to use “ALL” his time allocation!
Josh Dickson on board two, along with his brother, Noah on board 3, are the backbone of the side. Josh and his opponent, did not have one of their best days, but Josh got away with one win, which is all that counts on the day!
Noah Dickson on board three is beginning to look like the real deal now! His first game was a comedy of errors by both juniors, with Noah just taking it! Noah`s second game was a completely different story and showed us all his potential for chess if he puts his mind to it! Brilliant game!
Haoqi Liu on board 4 is probably the most exciting player to watch as you just never know which Haoqi is going to show up on the day! This was no exception and was indeed a tale of two matches which ended in a win a piece for both players! Never a dull moment when watching Haoqi`s games, but not good for my hair!
This fine win, puts Dundee City Juniors in 5th place on 4 points, with 2 matches left! Still all in their own hands!
