Chess player Divya criticises sexism in the game

Chess player, Divya Deshmukh, has criticised sexism among chess fans and called for equal respect for women. The 18-year-old, who won bronze at the 2022 Chess Olympiad and won the Asian Women's Chess Championship, has expressed her frustration with the "overlooked" and "under-appreciated" environment in which female players are often taken for granted.
