Chess championship organised

The Kanpur Ananya Srivastava and Ramanuj Mishra from the Virendra Swarup School Kidwai Nagar and DPS Kalyanpur won the 43rd Billabong Rapid Chess Championship held in Kanpur on Saturday. The Kanpur Chess Association announced the results on Sunday. The girls' under-8, under-11, under-15, and under-17 age groups won titles. Ananya Srivastava won the girls' under-15 title with 5 points, followed by Sanvi Omar (Billabong) with 2 points, Sameea Pilania (both Billabong) with 1 point, and Yasvi Jindal (under-11, Billabong) with 5 points. Ananya Srivastava also won the boys' under-8, under-11, and under-15 age groups.
