The 2nd International Open SKG “White Tower” tournament takes place from 2-8 January at the Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece. The tournament is played in 3 rating groups, with a total prize fund of 3600€. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. It is a 9-round Swiss event with participation of Dimitrios Ladopoulos, Imre Jr. Hera, Michalina Rudzinska, Jakub Kosakowski, Uri Shefer, Krum Georgiev, Metodi Stoinev, Petar Drenchev, Boil Banov, Beloslava Krasteva, Athanasios Mitrandzas, Hristos Banikas, etc.
