The 2nd International Open SKG “White Tower” – Group B tournament takes place from 2-8 January at the Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece. The tournament is played in 3 rating groups, with a total prize fund of 3600€. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. It is a 9-round Swiss event with participation of Stavros Samakas, Gerasimos Vallianos, Konstantinos Toliopoulos, Georgios Hidzos, Ioannis Demelkas, Dimitrios Pantoglou, Eleni Tsolaki, B Gyaneshwar, Georgios Stamatiadis, etc.
