The first event of five in this new TAFCA Online competition got off to a great start with 22 players taking part.

Congratulations to Dundee`s Jacques Ophoff CM (seeded 1) for winning on the night with 4½ points. It was a tough night’s chess for all including Jacques, but in the end he reigned supreme!
We had a six way tie for 2nd place on 3½ points meaning the overall table is very close as you would expect after only one round!
