Well as expected the turnout for our club night on Thursday 17th March 22 was poor by any standards, but what can you expect when the following was on!
- St. Patricks night!
- JUNIOR 4NCL matches online
And
- 3 TAFCA matches online on Thursday 17th March 22. 7:30pm involving our “A”, “B” and “C” teams!
Still no night is wasted as we had three of our juniors down (Ramit Kanodia, Josh & Noah Dickson), plus three adults. Ray did his usual lessons this time for Josh who has plenty of talent and a lot to say! Over the next month or so hopefully we can build on more lessons for our juniors and adults just beginning their chess adventure! With Ray Noble doing the lessons they will not learn much but will have a laugh! With TAFCA finishing in a few weeks time, we should see a real difference in the numbers coming to the club.

Dundee City teams are a joint venture between Castlehill Chess Club Dundee and Dundee Chess Club.

RESULT
Warwickshire Bears E (1087) 4 – 4 (445) Dundee City Juniors
As usual out graded but not out fought! A good draw which leaves Dundee City Juniors (C) on 4 points in 6th place in group A, division 2. Not bad given the grading`s of all the teams! The experience gained in this type of format is invaluable to our juniors as long as they follow it up with a bit of study!
