The hits just keep on coming! Chess.com's annual Speed Chess Championship started last Monday; here are the pairings and dates. (I won't put in any spoilers, for those who want to look up the videos of the event and watch them as if live. - Rapport - Sarana (Nov. 10)
- Grischuk - Sarin (Nov. 11)
- Aronian - Dubov (Nov. 11)
- Nakamura - Svidler (Nov. 12)
- So - Xiong (Nov. 15)
- Vachier-Lagrave - Caruana (Nov. 29)
Quarterfinal matches will be played on December 2 (two matches), December 6, and December 9. The semis will be held on December 13 and 16, and the final will take place December 19.
