A good fighting draw for our juniors with Rishi Vijayakumar J10, leading by example on board one winning both his matches.
Josh Dickson J11 on board two backed up Rishi, winning one match out of the two he played against a stronger graded player! A promising talent indeed!
Alexander Barron-Majerik J10 on board 3 and Noah Dickson J9 on board 4 both played against far stronger and more experienced juniors but did not look out of place against them getting a half point each in their respective matches and so giving Dundee City Juniors the draw!
With one round to go Dundee City Juniors cannot catch the top two teams this time, but the more important aspect of this tournament is the experience all our juniors are getting in playing at this level which will only benefit them in the long term!
Let’s see if we can finish off the tournament with a win in two weeks time!
