THURS NIGHT WEEKLY ONLINE COMP

Time-Control – 2 minutes Bullet.
This was not only a tough night time control wise but also the start of the TAFCA league online and more importantly, it was the opening of Castlehill Chess Club for OTB, face to face chess for over a 18 months!
Naturally this event took a hit with only 4 players taking part including a new member for the first time!
Richard Kynoch was the strongest player by a mile and easily took top spot on 16 points! Mind you he did lose one match to Ramit Kanodia J14! I think it speaks highly of Richard to stay to the end and play his less experienced and rated players. Thank you Richard!
Speaking of Ramit Kanodia, he finished equal 2nd place along with Tai Wilson on 4 points. This is the 2nd time Ramit took the runner-up spot in the 2 minute bullet.
Tai Wilson has just joined us and it must have been a mind blowing experience at this time control. Hopefully he did enjoy the night and will be back again for the slower time control events! Mind you equal 2nd place on your first event (we don`t use Lichess tie-break system!)!
