It`s congratulations to Castlehill Dragons who not only finish off their league campaign in style with a whitewash against Dundee Datousaurus`, but in the process finish in runners-up spot in the league behind our very own Castlehill Cobra`s!
The Dragons punched well above expectations in this division! To pip Dundee Centrosaurus` to 2nd place was a great achievement for Captain Daniel Coleman’s team.

Board 4: Rishi Vijaykumar J9 (482) beat Max Wang J11 (462)
Rishi had a busy night with 2 matches in the 4JNCL at 6pm and then playing for the Dragons at 7:30pm! He loves his chess and is so eager to learn. His style is changing and he is a little bit more patient, positional and clinical! I have had the pleasure of watching a young Declan Shafi grow up from boy to man and rise in the chess ranks. Now I am watching another young player start his chess career. I think I must be getting old!
In the pool of players for the Dragons along side the players mentioned above is Ramit Kanodia J13 (882) and Arthur Grant (846).
Once again, great campaign and the reward of runner-up in division two well earned and deserved!
