County Championships Draw
The ECF have a new Controller for the County Championships: Mark Murrell. The first job awaiting Mark's attention was the Draw for the ECF Final stage of the County Championships (coloquially known as the "national stages"), which has now been published.

The draws (undertaken by a Committee) for the ECF national stages of the Counties Championships have been published on schedule. The national stages have a very recently appointed new controller, yours truly.

Finally, the document link below gives a summary of what awaits the six Essex teams in each section of the national stages of the Counties Championships. The Essex Open team has qualified for the Open this year instead of the almost habitual Minor Counties. The last time Essex qualified in third place we became National Champions. No pressure then!
