The Charity Cup is the second event of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour of 2022. The online event is hosted by chess24 and takes place 19th to 26th March 2022. The event is a "a fundraiser for UNICEF to support their vital humanitarian activities in and around Ukraine." There will be no Russian players in the event. Players: Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Richard Rapport, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Vidit Gujrathi, Pentala Harikrishna, Jorden Van Foreest, Quang Liem Le, David Navara, David Anton, Gawain Jones, Hans Moke Niemann, R Praggnanandhaa, Eric Hansen, Ju Wenjun and Lei Tingjie.
