The 34th Leon Chess tournament takes place Wed 30th Jun to Sun 4th Jul 2021.This is a four player rapid knockout with Leinier Dominguez Perez, Boris Gelfand, Ju Wenjun and Jaime Santos Latasa. The event again takes place online on Chess.com rather than in Leon over the board. There is a slightly unusual schedule with the first semi-final match taking place a little early on Wednesday 30th, the second semi-final match takes place on 3rd of July and the final on Sunday 4th.
