Mishra's Current Event: Will He Get His Third GM Norm?

So far, it looks like the answer is probably not. Leonard Barden thinks he'll need 7/9 to do it, and after a loss in round 2 and a draw in round 3 he only has half a point left to spare. That said, the tournament could still be a success insofar as it brings his rating closer to 2500, even if he doesn't get the final norm this time around. (The GM norm requires a 2600+ TPR, so even if he doesn't achieve that, but does have a TPR greater than his current rating of 2424 - or maybe 2471 (see the comments to the preceding post) - he'll still gain points.
