Skilling Open 2020: Aronian qualifies for quarter round

Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian has qualified for the quarter round of the Skilling Open 2020 tournament.
The sportsman secured his participation in the future games after gaining advantage over Jan Krzysztof Duda (Poland), Anish Giri (the Netherlands) and Sergey Koryakin (Russia) and evening his score with Hikaru Nakamura (United States) and Ding Liren (China) after the five final matches of the preliminary round.
Aronian's main challenger in the upcoming match, set to take place later today, is Ian Nepomniachtchi of Russia.
