Humpy pockets first world chess crown, clinches Women's rapid title in Russia

Humpy Koneru is the new women World Rapid Chess Champion. India's most talented chess master clinched her maiden world open title in King Salman World Rapid Chess Championships in Moscow, Russia, on Saturday. While Magnus Carlsen clinched his third world crown in the Open group, Humpy emerged winner in Women.
