The chess.com Speed Chess tournament started 2nd September and will run through until December or very early January, the final dates will be decided closer to the time. MVL, Ding Liren, Nakamura, Aronian, Mamedyarov, Wesley So and Giri (already eliminated) are just some of the leading players competing. The event has reached the second round with Artemiev beating Aronian 16-9 on November 14th. The remaining quarter finals are Ding-Nepomniachtchi on 18th Nov, MVL-So on 19th Nov and Duda-Nakamura December 4th.
