The 3rd Du Te Cup took place in Shenzhen, China 17th to 26th April 2019. 6 players 10 rounds with Ding Liren, Anish Giri, Yu Yangyi, Richard Rapport, Pentala Harikrishna and Dmitry Jakovenko. After a long final round Anish Giri emerged the winner with 6.5/10 half a point clear of long time tournament leader Pentala Harikrishna. Giri beat the struggling Dmitry Jakovenko in the final round to overtake Harikrishna who was defeated in a very complex endgame by Ding Liren.
