My poor Ashland Eagles lost their opener 21-17, but that's okay--we're hoping to turn them into a chess powerhouse someday. (Seriously: those of you who know chess-playing kids willing to pursue college in central Ohio should contact me about the school!) But now let's turn to the football powerhouse, that juggernaut known as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish! They are taking on the despised (in football) Michigan Wolverines, and are going to destroy them. (And are off to a good start, up 14-3.) Tune in on NBC now - go Irish!
