For me, sport is a competition testing physical prowess, requiring some or all of speed, endurance, technique and accuracy. A bit of brain power comes in handy too.
So for me, Darts is a sport, as it is a test of physical accuracy. I love a game of chess, but I don't consider it a sport, as it is a purely mental test, with zero physical prowess required (unless you consider lifting up and moving a pawn as physical prowess!). Bridge likewise, so its all pretty clear cut for me in my own little world.
