This Limited-Edition Tudor Chronograph Was Built for Formula 1 Fans

Formula 1 style is having a moment—and Tudor is leaning all the way in. The brand’s new Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 takes direct inspiration from the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls 2026 car, translating track-ready materials and design into a limited-edition chronograph built for speed.

Worn by drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad around the paddock, the Carbon 26 pairs a lightweight carbon fiber case with bold racing colors and a proven automatic movement. The result is a watch that looks like it belongs on the grid—but wears just as well off it. With only 2,026 pieces available, this is one of the most motorsport-driven releases of the year—and one that’s likely to move fast.

Like the facia of an F1 machine, the 42mm case and bezel  are constructed in carbon fiber. For a high contrast aesthetic, Tudor has outfitted the piece with a "racing white" dial accented in the signature yellow of the team’s 2026 livery. Carbon fiber circular sub-dials and a punchy white tachymeter scale add to the race-ready vibe. Tudor’s hallmark "Snowflake" hands and the round, applied indexes are outlined in black for effortless legibility and filled with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova luminescent material for low-light time telling.

The Carbon 26 is water resistant to 200 meters thanks in part to its screw-down crown and screw-down pushers at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock, which are cast in titanium and coated with a black PVD. The screw-down titanium case back gets the same treatment and is engraved with a fluttering checkered flag as well as the unique piece number. 

The Carbon 26’s timekeeping runs on Tudor’s MT5813 automatic calibre. Based on Breitling 01 chronograph movement with column wheel construction and a vertical clutch, Tudor says the power unit is good for 70 hours of reserve and is accurate to -2 to +4 seconds a day.

It gets hot on the track, so Tudor has equipped the chronograph with a hybrid leather-rubber strap that prevents moisture and oil from deteriorating the hide. The wrist wrap is secured with a matching titanium pin buckle. 

Unlike an F1 car, which requires an incredible amount of expensive maintenance, the watch comes with a five-year transferable warranty guarantee, without registration or mandatory maintenance checks.
