Josh Allen Channels His Inner Bills Mafia to Fire Up Sabres Fans For Game 2 vs. Bruins

0 39

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen brought the Bills Mafia energy to the KeyBank Center for Game 2 between the Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.

On Sunday, the Sabers rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the third period to defeat the Bruins 4-3 in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series. It was a long time coming for the Sabres, who won their first playoff game in 15 years.

So, how did the Sabres get their fans even more fired up for Game 2 this evening? By bringing in the city's biggest sports star.

Allen banged the Sabres' drum and chugged a beer to fire up the packed KeyBank Center house:

It's a good time to be a fan of the Sabres and Bills, alright. After all, 2025-26 marks the first time both Buffalo teams qualified for the playoffs in the same season since 1998-99.

Allen has been everything the Bills could have asked for since they drafted him seventh overall back in 2018. Buffalo has reached the postseason in seven of Allen's eight seasons, with five AFC East titles and two trips to the AFC Championship Game.

Just when it felt like 2025 might be Buffalo's year, they dropped a heartbreaker to the Denver Broncos in overtime of the Divisional Round. That led to the firing of head coach Sean McDermott, with offensive coordinator Joe Brady replacing him.

Now, we wait and see if the Bills can finally break through with Brady after years of postseason heartbreak under McDermott. What we do know is as long as Allen is under center, Buffalo will always have a chance.
