Popeyes Just Launched a 'One Piece' Menu—and It Includes Free Collectibles

Today’s the day: Popeyes just launched a limited edition menu inspired by the cultural phenomenon, One Piece. And, thankfully, these meals come with more than one piece of chicken.

In the fast food chain’s first-ever anime collaboration, Popeyes has teamed up with Toei Animation to create a menu they promise in a press release “transforms the epic world of ONE PIECE into a craveable dining experience sure to satisfy any anime or Popeyes fan.”

“For ONE PIECE fans, the story is about adventure, loyalty, and going all-in for the things you love. This energy perfectly aligns with Popeyes and comes to life throughout this partnership with Toei Animation,” said Matt Rubin, Chief Marketing Officer at Popeyes in a statement. “We set out to create a collaboration that brings our bold flavors into the world of ONE PIECE and its anime fandom, the kind of meal you'd want before setting sail for the Grand Line.”

“Inspired by some of our favorite moments from the iconic ONE PIECE franchise, we infused the experience with signature Popeyes flavor,” he added. “Whether you're a longtime fan of ONE PIECE and Popeyes or discovering both for the first time, this collaboration is designed to bring that spirit of adventure to life.”

The menu is available now at restaurants across the US and Canada. In addition to the menu items, including one inspired by the adorable Tony Tony Chopper, the collab also features a free collectible and a new line of merch.

What's On the Menu?

Fans are invited to “fuel up like a member of the Straw Hat Crew” with the below menu additions.

• Luffy Bento Bundle ($13.99*): Two pieces of Popeyes iconic Signature Chicken, creamy Mac & Cheese, a refreshing Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade, and Chopper's Cupcake, served together for a truly legendary feast.
• Luffy Bento Box ($7.99*): Two pieces of Popeyes iconic Signature Chicken paired with creamy Mac & Cheese for an iconic meal.
• Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade ($3.49*): A bright, delicious lemonade inspired by the ONE PIECE original fruit.
• Chopper's Cupcake ($3.99*): A sweet treat as lovable as the Straw Hats' resident doctor.

In the press release, Popeyes did say prices may vary.

Collectibles and Merch, Too

In addition to the menu, Popeyes also has some One Piece collectibles and merch as part of the collaboration.

Today, a limited number of One Piece Bento Boxes will be given away for free to guests who buy themselves a Luffy Bento Bundle at six Popeyes locations. Those include the below:

Starting April 15, a new line of merch will also go on sale at the Popeyes shop, including a "Meat First, Adventure Later" tee and cute keychain. Bento Boxes will also be go sale at that time.
