Chris Brown & Usher Announce Joint Tour, and Fans Have a Major Question

0 1

Move over Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, and Ed Sheeran, as two heavyweights in music history have decided to go on tour, arguably making their concert shows the hottest tickets in town in 2026. Of course, I’m referring to Usher Raymond and Chris Brown, joining forces for what they are appropriately dubbing the R&B Tour: Raymond & Brown.

In a post-pandemic day and age, when music lovers are still highly engrossed by Verzuz battles (most recently by the one between Tank and Tyrese), and  R&B fans across the globe go back and forth in conversations about who the “King of R&B” is, how fitting that two legends often pitted against each other announced a joint tour. Naturally, both Grammy-winners on their own can draw a sold-out crowd to their shows, so you can just imagine the anticipation now developing to see them both live in what’s being teased as a stadium tour. This leads to a very important question.

Chris Brown and Usher Fans Worry about Ticket Prices for Concert

Let’s not pretend that ticket prices for concerts in general haven’t been higher than recent memory can recall. There’s already been some backlash this year for fans not happy about paying hundreds of dollars to go see Bruno Mars and Harry Styles. The latter in particular had prices exceeding $1,000. That being said, supporters of Chris Brown and Usher are terrified to see the listing price of tickets, even if they are excited to see the duo on tour together. Take a look at a few comments found on social media.

How Much Were Tickets to Usher and Chris Brown’s Last Shows

For reference sake, I decided to look at average ticket prices for the last concerts of both Usher and Brown. Usher’s last venture was in 2024 when he toured with the Past Present Future Tour(a concert I went to by the way). Tickets for the arena show started roughly around $75, but a “good seat” was between $200 and $300. Brown just wrapped the Breezy Bowl XX Tour (a stadium tour) in 2025. Tickets for Brown’s venture started out around $70, with a “good seat” again going somewhere between $200 and $300.

In both cases, it should go without saying that tickets were more expensive when concertgoers were on the floor or purchased VIP packages. So if I were a guessing man, the new joint tour will have tickets that go slightly higher than their solo tickets just due to demand. We will all have to wait and see what actual prices will be, but I’d venture to say a good ticket may land somewhere between $275 and $350.
