On April 8, the Lambrini Girls' Instagram account gave an update to fans who'd noticed that the band had suddenly been removed from Coachella's 2026 lineup. The post's caption confirmed that the band had to exit the festival and reschedule a slew of their other previously announced shows.

"a lot of you asking about why we are not on the @coachella lineup anymore ALL HEADLINE DATES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED UK/EU DATES ARE GOING AHEAD LATE MAY ONWARDS"

The post also featured a text image written by Phoebe Lunny that provided more details about why the band won't be able to perform for weeks. It explained that she has to take that time to recover after fracturing her neck and suffering an acute brain injury during the band's recent Australian tour. The injury was initially misdiagnosed, which caused a delay in her getting the proper treatment.

“We have to pull out of Coachella and reschedule our whole American headline tour,” the post read. “Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury. TLDR: happened in Australia. Misdiagnosed. Late treatment. Doctors orders are I can't fly or perform for 6 weeks."

The text image confirmed that the band won't be able to perform again until late May. "ALL UK/EU SHOWS ARE STILL GOING AHEAD LATE MAY ONWARDS." It also detailed the new dates for Lambrini Girls' North American performances that had to be rescheduled:

  • June 16: New York, N.Y. @ Warsaw
  • June 17: Boston, Mass. @ Paradise Rock Club
  • June 19: Montreal, Quebec @ Beanfield Theatre
  • June 20: Toronto, Ontario @ The Concert Hall
  • Sept. 27: Indianapolis, Ind. @ The Vogue
  • Sept. 28: Detroit, Mich. @ Majestic Theatre
  • Sept. 29: Chicago, Ill. Vic Theatre
  • Oct. 1: Kansas City, Kan. @ Granada
  • Oct. 2: St Louis, Mo. @ Delmar Hall
  • Oct. 4: Atlanta, Ga. @ Variety Playhouse
  • Oct. 5: Asheville, N.C. @ Orange Peel

The comments on the post are full of fans expressing their hope that Lunny will recover quickly and concern for her welfare.
