NFL Veteran Quarterback Announces Engagement At 36
36-year-old NFL star Tyrod Taylor has confirmed his engagement to now-fiancée Bianka Charity-Parker following a recent trip to Italy.
Taylor was in a public relationship with model Draya Michele that reportedly ended on poor terms in 2023, so the recent announcement marks a clear new chapter for the football star.
The couple shared the news on social media on March 17, with Taylor captioning their engagement photos: "“You are my everything."
Taylor began his profesisonal career with the Baltimore Ravens in 2011, before playing with teams including the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, and—most recently—the New York Jets. He was named ACC Player of the Year in 2010, and led the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory just two years later.
The quarterback reportedly presented his fiancée with a pear-shaped diamond ring while they were traveling in Italy earlier this month (via Complex).
Charity-Parker is a clinical and school psychologist with a PhD in the field, reportedly "working with children, adolescents, and young adults, focusing on evidence-based treatments for emotional regulation, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions."
Taylor's decision to keep the relationship mostly private—before the engagement—is a clear change from his public relationship with Draya Michele. The pair dated between 2020 and 2023, with their relationship ultimately falling apart and resulting in a prolonged legal battle over a $3 million property in California.
