Why We Love This Deal
I see a lot of Levi's deals online as a shopping writer at all kinds of retailers—Amazon, Nordstrom Rack, etc. While much of what I've found has been on the brand's tough jackets, everybody knows it's all about hard-working jeans when it comes to Levi's. One of my favorites is the 511. If you’re a slim-build guy like me, you’re in luck: they're on sale right now for as low as $33.
A handful of Levi’s Premium 511 Slim Fit Jeans are on sale directly through the brand's site right now. Many are around 50% off, and in some cases, closer to close to 66% off in various washes, making them between $33 and $46. There are even some pairs going for as low as $17, but sizes there have sold out quickly. The best one right now has to be the Black Knight wash, which is selling for $46. Nearly all sizes are still in stock, and it's a nice black wash that's a universally loved color in denim.

Levi’s describes the 511 cut as being “modern slim as not-so-skinny skinny jeans” and, honestly, with a slim build and properly-fitted pants, my personal experience is that the jeans fit regularly, if slightly conforming. I typically hold a BMI around 21 these days, which is towards the low end of healthy by most standards, and though my calves are my most prominent muscle group, there’s no feeling of tightness or stiffness while wearing my 511.
This particular pair is made primarily of cotton and Tencell lyocell, a soft, plant-based fabric. There’s also a 2% elastane component to the blend, which is going to highly boost the jeans’ stretch. Overall, this is a pair of jeans that will match most casual attire, and you’re going to look fantastic with a hoodie or sweater and a casual sneaker alongside these jeans.
If you're coming from the classic 501, you can expect these to be tighter. Compared to the 501's more generous drape toward the ankle, the 511 tapers more, creating a nicer, sleeker silhouette. There's also less fabric in the thigh and seat. You'll also get a zip fly here.
