‘Landman’ Season 2 Episode 8 Is Under Wraps—and Streaming Shockingly Soon
Season 2 of Landman has, in many ways, been a slow burn. With a combination of family dynamics and looming business conflicts, Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) has been fighting various wars on various fronts, all at once.
But the slow burn of Season 2 is now giving way to a more rapid flame. And with the release of Landman Season 2, Episode 8, Paramount+ is keeping certain things under wraps. We haven't seen more than one preview image for this episode, and the plot details have been kept under tight wraps. It's possible we're looking forward to some big reveals and twists in Landman Episode 8. Here's what to know about the release date, streaming time, and the future of the show.
Landman Season 2, Episode 8 Release Date
Landman Season 2, Episode 8, "Handsome Touched Me" hits Paramount+ on Sunday, January 4. After that point, there will only be two episodes left. The season finale, "Tragedy and Flies," will be released on January 18, 2026. (Previously, it was reported that the finale would stream on January 10; this was inaccurate.)

Landman‘s new episodes are always released on Sundays. So, Season 2, Episode 8, will be available to watch at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time this Sunday, January 4, 2026. This schedule sometimes means that episodes will drop as soon as 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturdays, but don't count on that. Anytime Sunday is your best bet.

As of this writing, Paramount+ has released very little information on Landman Season 2, Episode 8. We know that Cami (Demi Moore) and Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) will continue to clash over the future of the business. We also know that Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) is also locking horns with Charlie (Guy Burnet). But what it all means is still unclear. So far, only one photo from "Handsome Touched Me" has been released (see above), which could mean this episode is a huge game-changer for the entire show.
Here's the brief official plot synopsis from Paramount+: Tommy hires help for his ailing father. Rebecca and Charlie clash. Cami makes a risky move against Tommy’s advice.
Keep in mind that even when Landman Season 2 ends, this isn't the end of the show. There's at least one more season. And as Billy Bob Thornton told Men's Journal recently: "I have a feeling a lot of things are really going to ramp up [in Season 3]. Because the first season was so full of action stuff and danger. The second season was full of the family and business relationships. It’s just a guess, but I’d imagine things will come to a head."
