This Cult-Favorite Beverage Brand Is Launching a New Line of Energy Drinks, Bringing ‘Death to Drowsy’

Liquid Death, the cult-favorite beverage brand, continues to delight and surprise us with new seasonal flavors of its sparkling water as well as entirely new drink collections. To quench your thirst and keep you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, it's dropping a new Sparkling Energy drink line that's sure to give you a little boost.

Calling it a better-for-you energy drink line, Liquid Death Sparkling Energy will bring an "unextreme" level of caffeine that "feels like coffee, not an electric chair." Each 12-ounce can provides 100 milligrams of caffeine sourced from natural coffee beans. The recipe is sweetened with stevia and allulose, not sucralose, aspartame or erythritol. There are just a mere five calories per can, plus essential vitamins B12 and C, L-theanine and magnesium.

According to Liquid Death, the new line will have four uniquely named flavors of bubbly energy drinks. The collection includes "Murder Mystery," a "mysterious" blend of cherry, spice and vanilla; "Scary Strawberry," with a hint of lemon; "Tropical Terror," melding pineapple and coconut for a piña colada-type situation; and "Orange Horror," a nostalgic classic, reminiscent of a creamsicle, combining orange with vanilla.

Liquid Death Sparkling Energy Declares "Death to Drowsy"

Liquid Death

According to Liquid Death, its energy drink formula was codeveloped with award-winning longevity specialist Dr. Darshan Shah to bring "death to drowsy." The entire idea behind its recipe is to combine natural ingredients that provide an energy boost without the jitters, shakes or undesirable side effects of some energy drinks.

Initially, the full line will be available on Amazon, with packs of a dozen cans priced at $24.99. Eventually, Sparkling Energy will be available at Walmart, Target and Albertsons, both as single cans and variety packs.

If you're not familiar, Liquid Death has amassed a huge following, with fans pining over its mountain water, which is canned still water sourced from, well, mountain springs. Its sparkling water has also become wildly popular, with soda-flavored varieties like "Killer Cola," "Severed Lime," "Doctor Death," "Cherry Obituary," "Rootbeer Wrath," "Grave Fruit," "Cereal Criminal" and "Piña Killada."

Additionally, it launched a line of iced teas with flavors such as "Dead Billionaire," "Rest in Peach," "Sweet Reaper," "Blueberry Buzzsaw," "Slaughter Berry" and "Green Guillotine." As you can see, whoever is running the naming committee at Liquid Death has quite the unique branding tactic—and fans love it.

If you're intrigued by the idea of a Liquid Death energy drink in one of the four new flavors, keep your eye out for an announcement on its website and Instagram page. You won't want to miss out on this drop.
