Diane Keaton Dated Woody Allen

It's true that Keaton once dated director Woody Allen. In fact, they lived together for a time in New York, according to Page Six.

They met in 1969 during a Broadway production, and Allen wrote in a book that he considered Keaton “adorable, funny, totally original in style, real, fresh," Page Six reported.

Keaton also dated Warren Beatty, who had a string of famous lovers before marrying Annette Bening.

She starred with him in the movie Reds and said, according to People, “He is just a brilliant character. So complex and charming. He should have made more movies.”

According to the Huffington Post, Keaton described dating Beatty as "amazing," saying she once had a childhood crush on the actor.

Keaton told that publication that Beatty was "smart" and romantic.

"Yes. I was terrified of flying and once I had to fly from L.A. to New York, so he took me to the airport and said, 'I'll walk you onto the plane,'" she recalled. "Then he sat down with me and the plane took off and he was still holding my hand. We landed and he kissed me goodbye and took the next plane back to L.A. Pretty cool."
