Charlie Sheen’s Daughter Shares Reaction to Watching New Documentary
Charlie Sheen's eldest daughter with Denise Richards, Sami Sheen, shared her emotional reaction to her father's new Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen.
"I didn't know I was the reason he got sober," Sami wrote over a video of herself crying one day after the two-part documentary's release. "Honestly a 10/10 documentary," she captioned the clip.
"Why is it such a big deal that I posted a five-second video of me crying about my dad's documentary?" she said in a follow-up video shared the next morning. "Like, what did you guy's expect, for me to be sitting there laughing the whole time? I just found out so much s--t that I had no idea. There's like photos of me as a baby. I wish you guys realize, but I had a f--ked up childhood. Sorry for crying about it."
The Two and a Half Men alum sat down for a wide-ranging documentary to discuss everything from my alcohol and drug addiction and rehab stints, to his marriages and infamous downfall.
In the documentary -- which debuted on the streamer on September 10 -- Charlie revealed that a missed opportunity for a father-daughter day was the catalyst for his recovery.
"I hate that any little thing I post gets picked up online. I just wish my stuff could stay on TikTok. Leave me alone. I wish I could just post a TikTok and have it stay on TikTok," Sami added.
In addition to Sami, Charlie shares daughter Lola with Richards as well as twins Max and Bob with ex-wife Brooke Mueller and daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship.
