2023 Cali Love Tour

0 0

After a legendary snowpack year in California, with high Sierra runs lasting 2-3 months longer than usual, this recap from Isaac Hull captures an unforgettable summer. Epic crews, endless water, and incredible kayaking defined the first half before a shoulder dislocation sidelined the action. Even then, shuttling and filming kept the stoke high. Life on the road in the Sierras is simply unbeatable.

« Put this together last fall, had some changes I wanted to make then many months later I figured I should just throw it up. Legendary snow-pack year for California, with most of the high-sierra runs going 2-3 months later than normal. Made for a lot of waiting around for levels to drop but also so many epic crews to boat with and plenty of water. First half of the summer was the best month+ of kayaking I ever had before I dislocated my shoulder a few days after Royal Gorge. Spent the rest of the summer shuttling and videoing the boys and it was still all-time. Thankful for every minute in the Sierras even when my shoulder was in a sling. You simply can’t beat the quality of life on the road out there. »
