First Half Slice advice

Hey everyone! So, I’ve been looking into getting my first half slice kayak. I’ve been paddling a medium Machno since i started paddling, and want to get this boat to work on my technique. For context, I’m about 5’11”, 145lbs without gear, and been on the water for about 2 years. My options are a medium rewind and a small ripper (that’s all we got on stock where I live).
