San Juan Upper trip - Hiking Suggestions

Hey All! Headed on the San Juan here in a few weeks, upper stretch (SI to Mexican Hat). Fully realize that we need to stay on the right side, no hiking or camping allowed right now on the left. Looking for hike suggestions, anywhere along the upper stretch. We have time (and in shape adults) for some longer, half day, exploring type hiking, as well as some kids that might like shorter exploring. River House is a must - haven't been there for 10 years, and excited to see it again...
