Rivermaps camp 55.5 is strategically located as the last legal camp above Rock Creek with the next downstream legal camp, Snap Canyon, being over 4.5 miles below, which makes an extra long afternoon if brutally windy. And, Snap Canyon fundamentally does not exist at high flows.
