PBC previews Pacquiao vs Barrios with ‘Gloves Off’

Premier Boxing Champions previews it’s video feature on the fight, dropping tomorrow.

As Manny Pacquiao prepares himself to end his retirement to return to boxing for a world title opportunity against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, Premier Boxing Champions looks ahead to the July 19 fight with it’s trailer for Gloves Off.

Pacquiao last appeared in a professional boxing match in the summer of 2021, losing a decision to Yordenis Ugas where he clearly looked past it. But Pacquiao says the time away from the sport has only rejuvenated him, and the fight promotion is centered around Pacquiao, despite being 46-years-old, having a lifetime of beating the odds, which at least some expect that will be the case when he takes on the 30-year-old Barrios.

Barrios is generally considered to be the weakest titleholder at 147 at the moment, with at least some commentators going so far as to saying he sucks and the fact he’s a champion is a reflection of a weak division.
